Will my website lose traffic?

 

There is a possibility that your website will lose traffic at the start of the new age verification laws being rolled out. This is because all businesses that need to comply will have a robust age verification gateway. Meaning the user will need to upload ID, credit card,  provide an address or use facial recognition. Some methods of verification are very intrusive; however, 18 Verified have implemented the least intrusive ways to verify for their users. Therefore, once the new laws have become common knowledge and people have adapted to the verification process, we have made it as easy as possible for your users to verify.

 

Can I get a refund on my package?

 

No, once you have brought a package and have been sent the code, we cannot refund you. You can cancel your automatic renewal with us by emailing support@18verified.com

What is 18verified?

18verified is a discreet age verification service that allows adults to access restricted content safely, securely, and legally. Verify once with a simple payment method, then use your login across all participating platforms.

Why do I need to verify my age?

Due to new Global laws, the Online Safety Act, websites hosting adult content and other sensitive material must legally verify that users are 18 or over. 18verified helps websites stay compliant and helps you access content without having your face scanned or having to verify yourself multiple times.

How does verification work?

To verify your age, you can do this by using a credit card or ID. You then activate your £2/month subscription, which keeps you verified. This then allows you to log in across all participating platforms.

Is my information safe?

Yes. We never collect or store personal ID documents or credit card details. Your payment details are handled securely by trusted third-party payment providers, and we never share your information with third parties.

Will my bank statement show anything sensitive?

No. Your statement will show a neutral billing name, 18verified LTD, to protect your privacy. There will be no mention of the websites you are accessing.

Do I have to verify my age every time I visit a new site?

No. Once you’re verified with 18verified, you can use the same login on any participating website. One verification. One login. Unlimited access.

How much does it cost?

Verification costs just £2 per month. This covers your access across multiple websites without needing to verify each time.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel at any time. You’ll retain access until the end of your billing period.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You do this with your bank; log onto your online banking and cancel your DD. The direct debt will appear under the name 18Verified or Stripe. Alternatively you can email us at support@18verifed.com and we will cancel the subscription for you.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You will remain verified for the rest of the 30-day period. After that, you will be required to verify yourself again and restart the subscription service. This will activate your logins.
